July 21 - Love the LORD with all your heart!
Philippians 3:18-19 (ESV)
For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.
So it starts in the head but in order for it to last it must move to the heart.
Love the Lord with all your heart...

Dt 30:6 - this one tells you that God will circumcise your heart so that you can love Him. That is the Old Testament way of saying, "Saved" You have to be a Christian or this isn't even possible.

If you give pieces of your heart to anything other than God you will feel drained. He will not allow idols to fill you up. Therefore, you will fall into bed exanimate and wake up lethargic and frustrated because of the never ending work of chasing lifeless idols.Your love for others will be hollow at best because you are in essence empty.
God, "save" us so that we can have the mind of Christ with a desire to please you. Then we can, in increasing measure, love YOU with our whole heart.
Philippians 3:20-21 (ESV)
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
