Some more thoughts on words and conversations:
Proverbs 30:32 (ESV)
If you have been foolish, exalting yourself, or if you have been devising evil, put your hand on your mouth.
Check it out, see how much time we spend exalting ourselves in our conversations. Even if it is talking down about ourselves. Even a poor self-esteem is just thinking too much about ourselves
The following verses remind me to use the time I have wisely; to uplift and talk about Christ and Him crucified:
Proverbs 16:21 (ESV)
The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness.
Proverbs 16:23 (ESV)
The heart of the wise makes his speech judicious and adds persuasiveness to his lips.
Colossians 4:5-6 (ESV)
Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
1 Timothy 4:11-13 (ESV)
What do I devote my time to? I agree these guys were in the basic profession of disciple and we can't compete with that but still, what do I talk about when I am talking? Is there a common thread? Yep, and it isn't worth the time it took to speak it.
One more book page and the text for it. I am using Cinquain for the text.
Cinquain is a short, usually unrhymed poem consisting of twenty-two syllables distributed as 2, 4, 6, 8, 2, in five lines. It was developed by the Imagist poet, Adelaide Crapsey. Another form, sometimes used by school teachers to teach grammar, is as follows:
Line 1: Noun
Line 2: Description of Noun
Line 3: Action
Line 4: Feeling or Effect
Line 5: Synonym of the initial noun.

I have used the swirls in each page to represent God or The Words of God. This painting will have to be redone but it gives the idea.
