June 1, 2010 – Oh Could there be some fun change on the horizon? & 1 Chronicles 15, Psalm 145
All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your saints shall bless you!
They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power,
to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
Psalms 145:10-12 (ESV)
This will be my goal for the upcoming summer. To speak of and illustrate the list in this chapter:
- Kingdome is Everlasting
- Faithful
- Kind
- Upholding/Raises
- Feed and satisfy every living thing
- Righteous
- Near to those who call on Him in truth
- Fulfills desires of those who fear Him
- Hears and saves those who fear Him
- Preserves all who love Him
Because you did not carry it the first time, the LORD our God broke out against us, because we did not seek him according to the rule.”
1 Chronicles 15:13 (ESV)
I wonder how scared the Levites and priests were after David reminded them about this; no doubt the death of Uzzah was never forgotten.
Just think about being Chenaniah...Chenaniah, leader of the Levites in music, should direct the music, for he understood it. 1 Chronicles 15:22 (ESV) Wow! Because he understood it...What did that mean?
That had to be some procession...right?
This chapter shows me that God answers the prayers of and is near those who consult Him in truth.
