November 15, 2010 - Ezra 1 - AWAKEN
Whose spirit God had stirred....
AMAZING! God used a "non-His people" person to get His work done. Look at the chain of events...Years of back and forth disobedience, total debauchery, conquer, capture, slavery. Then, at the appointed time, God keeps His promise and the prophecy is fulfilled and His Name, once again, is in Jerusalem. And just in case we are mistaken and think that man had anything to do with it, God makes it clear that He stirred the hearts of all concerned.
What is the lesson for my dietary changes? A prayer for my heart to be stirred into action; a plea to motivate me to rebuild His temple, my body.
