Glorify God In All We Do
Like that’s going to happen"?
This will probably be about 3rd Grade art a lot. More research for verses to illustrate an art time-line centered plan.
I was looking for verses concerning glorifying God in all we do. I began to take this one apart and it revealed some actions:
1. (this is a continuation of putting on godly behaviors from the prior verses) And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
- Action: Put on Love
2. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.
- Action: Let the Peace Of Christ Rule Your Heart
3. And be thankful.
- Action: Be Thankful
4. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- Let the Word of Christ Dwell In You
5.And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- Action: Whatever You Do, Do It In The Name Of Christ

Whoa! How is this to be done?
Could the answer be in the actions and also at the beginning of the text?
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:1-4 (ESV)

I don’t believe we will ever be able to accomplish anything of the sort as humans. But I do think we can make an effort to try to set our minds on Godly things. Oh I wish I could reconcile in my heart how to accomplish the things God has asked of me as a sinful human.
Tomorrow is my first day teaching 3rd Grade art at ELS. We are starting the week off with a folded journal then decorating a portfolio of sorts on Thursday. I will post some results as time goes on. For now- My example for the kids it to follow.
